I’ve been fortunate enough to experience both the river and ocean cruises, sailing down the Danube and Douro on a river cruise and adventuring on the Lisbon – Bergen – Western Europe discovery cruise. Covid did scupper a few of my planned trips but the bucket list is still going strong. Soon I hope to be exploring the dramatic Chilean coastline, the remote island of Chiloe, home to Humboldt and Magellanic penguin breeding ground, and the southernmost tip of Tierra del Fuego, Cape Horn. This cruise will take me into a majestic and glacial landscape for a truly unforgettable experience.
